POINTS ALLOTMENT
  1. The competition is open to all Senior male amateur golfers 55 to 64 years of age and all Super Senior male amateur golfers age 65 years and older who are members in good standing of a member club of the PEIGA.

 

  1. Qualifying events for the PEIGA Senior Player Ranking and the PEIGA Super Senior Player Ranking:

·        Island Amateur (Players not playing in the Island Amateur will be assigned 0 points.)

·        Any 5 events from the King of Clubs Tour (A player must count only his best 5 events)

·        PEIGA Abegweit Match Play

 

  1. Points will be awarded as follows:

Players tied for any position will split the total points.

 

  1. In the event of a tie for the PEIGA SENIOR & SUPER SENIOR PLAYER OF THE YEAR or any place in the final PEIGA SENIOR & SUPER SENIOR RANKING, the Amateur results will be used to break the tie, then the last event on the KING OF CLUBS TOUR, then the second last event, etc.

 

  1. The PEIGA will not be responsible for the failure of competitors to secure entry into any or all events.

 

  1. The top 16 Senior players will be invited to play in the Abegweit Outfitting/PEIGA Senior Match Play Championship.

 

  1. The top 16 Super Senior players will be invited to play in the Abegweit Outfitting/ PEIGA Super Senior Match Play Championship.

 

  1. The 12 players for the Maritime Senior Challenge will be chosen as follows: (i) the top 3 players of the Provincial Senior and Super Senior Championships (ii) the next 9 best players from the integrated PEIGA Senior Player Ranking and the PEIGA Super Senior Player Ranking.
